Meet Matt Pattison — Founder of CoreSmart LLC

Matt Pattison, founder of CoreSmart LLC, is a dedicated coach based in New York City, specializing in personalized fitness training for clients worldwide—both virtually and in his Manhattan studio. Growing up in his father’s gym in Perkasie, Pennsylvania, Matt excelled as an All-American collegiate athlete and competed in weightlifting competitions throughout high school. He earned a degree in Computer Science from Albright College and served as captain of his football teams in both high school and college, demonstrating early leadership and discipline.

After relocating to NYC in 2017, Matt faced the challenges of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in a fast-paced urban environment. Recognizing how difficult it can be to live well in the city, he devoted himself to mastering the intricacies of fitness and nutrition.

In 2019, Matt launched CoreSmart LLC and created an automated meal-planning web application designed to help individuals see food as fuel. Following the onset of COVID-19, he transitioned to virtual training and leveraged his Instagram presence to grow a strong client roster. With over 10,000 hours of one-on-one training experience, more than 1,000 days of tracked dietary habits, and hundreds of clients guided through nutrition and fitness, Matt developed a unique methodology that integrates movement and nutrition into a comprehensive wellness approach.

Matt’s approach to personal wellness focuses on building a body that is healthier, stronger, and more flexible. He emphasizes injury prevention over correction and prioritizes longevity, helping clients glow from the inside out while falling more in love with themselves and their lives, one day at a time. Each client is met where they are in their journey and guided to build a sustainable, individualized healthy lifestyle that aligns with their goals.

Never letting workouts become monotonous, Matt introduces new exercises in each session and teaches clients to shift their focus from solely chasing results to appreciating the journey—celebrating improvements in strength, energy, and overall well-being. He emphasizes adaptability, helping clients navigate life’s unpredictability without guilt, whether it’s missing a workout or indulging in a treat, and encourages them to consistently get back on track.

Today, Matt continues to coach clients both in person and virtually, driven by his passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals while making lasting, meaningful lifestyle changes.
