Matty Pattison Founder of CoreSmart LLC, Matt is a dedicated coach based in New York City, specializing in personalized fitness training for clients worldwide, both virtually and in his Manhattan studio. Growing up in his father's gym in Perkasie, Pennsylvania, Matt was recognized as an All-American collegiate athlete and excelled in weightlifting competitions during high school. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Albright College and was captain of his football team in both high school and college showing his leadership abilities.
Relocating to NYC in 2017, Matt faced the challenge of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in a fast-paced environment. Realizing that one can really struggle to live a healthy lifestyle in the city, including himself, he devoted himself to understanding the intricacies of fitness and nutrition.
In 2019, he launched CoreSmart LLC, creating an automated meal planning web application that empowers individuals to view food as fuel. Following the onset of COVID-19, Matt transitioned to virtual training and using his Instagram following and rather self-explanatory bodily exemplification of the lifestyle he was selling he quickly built a roster. Having spent over 10,000 hours training clients one on one, tracking his dietary habits for over 1,000 days straight, and helping hundreds of individuals with their own nutrition, he has developed unique methodology that involves training and nutrition.
Matt uses an innovative approach to personal wellness rooted in making the body healthier, stronger, and more flexible. Matt believes in preventing injury from happening rather than fixing injury after it occurs. He understands the importance of living a long healthy life and focuses on longevity in his method and as a result clients’ glow from the inside out, falling more in love with themselves and their lives’ one day at a time. Clients will understand their unique body and they are met where they are in their journey and are guided by Matt to build a healthy lifestyle that works best for their specific needs and goals.
Never getting bored with his workouts as he provides new exercises with each session. Teaching clients to shift their mindset from solely focusing on the end results to enjoying the journey itself and appreciate the improvements in strength, energy, and overall well-being. Knowing that life can be unpredictable, he teaches clients to be adaptable with their fitness routine and eating habits and if someone misses a workout or indulges in a treat, not to be too hard on yourself and just get back on track. He now coaches clients in person and virtually and his passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals continues to drive his success.
